PSY 323 - Psychology of Adolescent Development3 Credits
Students expand on their understanding of lifespan development by studying specific developmental mechanisms and milestones in adolescence and emerging adulthood. Students investigate how developmental perspectives have evolved to accommodate contemporary demands of adolescents and emerging adults. Students examine seminal empirical works and learn to engage in thoughtful discussion of research on adolescent development and emerging adulthood. Prerequisites: PSY 110
