This course is an introduction to computing for data analysis, visualization, and simulation, using a high-level language (e.g., R). Students use data-driven programming for the handling, formatting, and visualization of messy and complex data. Students implement the grammar of graphics process in visualizing complex data including spatial, temporal, and textual data. Prerequisites:MTH 107
