SLC 0073 - Introduction to Wine Tasting/Apprec0 Credits
Introduction to Wine Tasting & Wine Appreciation: This workshop will cover the basics of wine tasting and wine appreciation, concentrating on the characteristics of different red and white varietal wines. We will examine how wines are scored, the vocabulary of wine tasting, what to look for in different wines, and how to develop your own preferences. The 5 sessions include the big reds, interesting whites, dessert wines, local and regional wines, and a quick “tour” of world wine geography. You must be 21 in order to register for this course - no exceptions.
