An introduction to the study of literature, in this course students study five to seven major American authors from the 19th and 20th centuries, reading representative texts by each author and learning about their contributions to American literature and our understanding of the human experience. Prerequisites:ENG 110 or Writing Assessment Score of 3 or above.
