MTH 107 - Statistical Concepts & Analysis4 Credits Students learn to explore questions about data and populations through the application of exploratory data analysis and inferential statistics. Specific topics include summary graphics and statistics; normal distribution calculations; experimental design and sampling collection; sampling distributions; inference concept; t-family of tests; chi-square family of tests; and regression. Students analyze data and perform tests with modern statistical software. Connections Discipline: Quantitative Reasoning Prerequisites: BUS 120 , MTH 104 , MTH 106 , MTH 108 , MTH 109 , MTH 140 , SPC 162, ACT Math score of 20 or higher, or SAT Math score of 470 or higher.
