OED 108 - Basic Whitewater Paddling

Students develop skills in basic strokes and practice paddling and risk management techniques for flat, moving, and whitewater boating. River practice during the course focuses on up- and down-stream ferries, the eddy turn, the peel out, wave surfing, and basic river rescues.
