Students explore the dynamics of the climate system and how natural laws determine the climate. Topics include the role of fluid mechanics in climate, atmospheric and oceanic circulation, the El Nino/Southern Oscillation, and climate variability. Prerequisites:PHY 111 , MTH 141 and junior standing.
