The business major offers students the opportunity to focus their studies on either business management or sustainable entrepreneurship. Both emphases share a common core of courses that provide students with a foundational understanding of economics, finance, management, marketing, and social responsibility.

The business management emphasis further develops students’ understanding and skills in management and strategic planning. Students who complete this emphasis often participate in the internship program, which allows them to explore careers in small business, industry, and government while earning college credit. Typically, these students go on to careers in accounting, small business, and management.
